Abstract

This research is devoted to highlighting certain aspects of the study of tourist discourse on the material of the English and Russian languages. The significance of the pragmadiscursive analysis of the ecotourism terminosphere in English and Russian is considered. Particular emphasis is placed on the pragma-discourse analysis of the ecotourism terminosphere in English and Russian. Special attention is paid to the relationship of ecotourism discourse with the system of other institutional types of discourse, and the interdisciplinary nature of ecotourism discourse is described. A pragma-linguistic and formal-semantic analysis of the term system of the ecotourism sphere is carried out. The sources of language material for this work were dictionaries and texts from specialized magazines, advertising brochures, articles, electronic publications in English and Russian; the research material was made up of English and Russian terms in the amount of 200 units.
